Nigerian singer Victor A.D rose to fame quickly soon after he released his hit song Weytin We Gain, and according to him the song was personal conversation he was having with God, after he had been trying to have a stable music career for years but failed. Victor A.D recounted an instance where a customer asked that he’d be thrown out of the club while he was singing of-key but after some years he had a full time job in that club and was put on payroll.
This might come as a shock to many but the musician says he adopted the name Victor because he was lashed in school for not being able to explain his name Eugene and explained saying “I was lashed because i didn’t understand the meaning of my name Eugene. I dropped that name
because I sisnt understand so I explained to my grandma and my dad“
